The UNI-T UT325 Sound Level Meter is used to accurately generate a reading of the levels of ambient noise present within an environment.
This device is capable of measuring sound in four different ranges, stretching all the way from 30 decibles all the way to 130db with a frequency rating of 31.5Hz - 8000Hz. The four available measurement ranges are:
When taking measurements the UNI-T UT325 features two separate sampling rates. FAST mode will generate a sample of 8 times per second while the SLOW mode will generate 1 times per second.
Results generated by the UT325 are displayed clearly on the LCD screen. Results are measured in decibels and can be also represented as an analogue bar graph with range of 30-130dB. To help with measurements this device also features MAX/MIN modes and the ability to temporarily store data using the data hold function.
This device also features auto power off when left idle for an extended period of time, low battery indication and has analogue outputs of AC: 0.707Vrms full scale; Output impedance around 600Ω and DC: 2Vrms full scale; 10mV/dB; Output impedance; around 100Ω.
