SIGNAL GENERATOR SGV
The Classic SGV Signal Generator is designed for use alongside a Classic Cable Avoidance Tool. Using the combination of a Signal Generator with a Cable Avoidance Tool makes the task of cable avoidance far more effective.
The C.Scope SGA will optimise the performance of the Cable Avoidance Tool enabling operators to locate more buried utilities including street lighting cables.
INCREASED EFFECTIVENESS, LESS CABLE STRIKES
The Classic SGV Signal Generator is designed for use alongside a Classic Cable Avoidance Tool. A C.Scope SGV Signal Generator is a vital accompaniment to a C.Scope Cable Avoidance Tool and significantly increases the number of buried services that can be detected and reduce the day-to-day risk of cable strikes.
The 33kHz SGA Signal Generator can energise a buried metal pipe or cable either by 'direct connection'to the target pipe or cable or the simpler 'induction method from above ground.
The SGV has a class leading One watt Power output which helps to get a detectable signal onto deeper and less conducting pipes and cables for complex locate tasks and provides longer distance tracing capability. It also features aFOUR position power level adjustment so the operator has total control of how much power is in use and when.
The SGV Signal Generator has a multi-segment Liquid Crystal Display that provides clear information about the functions selected. The display also shows the all important battery condition so the operator knows how much battery life is available.
A Pulsed or Continuous signal output allows operators to switch to the Pulsed Mode at the push of a button in high interference situations and keep on tracing. The SGV has a clear audible signal output to indicate when it is in operation. A useful in-built audio mute control is also included.

The MXT2 Transmitter offers a choice of frequencies to suit any job. Use the simultaneous 33+13kHz signal detectionfor general utility applications and detecting smaller buried pipes and cables such as telecoms, sheathed fibre optics and street lighting spurs, 8kHz traces deeper and over longer distances and the ultra low frequency 512/640Hz signal is invaluable for specialist tracing.
The MXT2 has a powerful One watt Power output which helps to get a detectable signal onto deeper and less conducting pipes and cables for complex locate tasks and provides longer distance tracing capability. It also features aFOUR position power level adjustment so the operator has total control of how much power is in use and when.
The MXT2 Transmitter has a multi-segment Liquid Crystal Display that provides clear information about the functions selected. The display also shows the all important battery condition so the operator knows how much battery life is available.

Pipe and Cable Locator
SAFE, SIMPLE, QUICK AND RELIABLE
The C.Scope Cable Avoidance / Locator Tool has three familiar detection modes (POWER, RADIO AND GENERATOR) to select from. Each mode provides its own specific advantages. Many operators will be familiar with these operating modes.
The POWER mode is the quickest way to detect most buried electricity cables by detecting the signal created by the electrical current itself.
The RADIO mode detects re-radiated Radio type signals that are often present on metal pipes and cables allowing their position to be determined using just the Cable Avoidance Tool alone.
The GENERATOR mode is used to detect the signal applied to a metal pipe or cable by a C.Scope SGA or SGV Signal Generator. In addition the Generator mode can be used to detect the signal being transmitted by a C.Scope Sonde for non-metallic pipe tracing.
When combined with a C.Scope SGA or SGV Signal Generator and accessories, the Cable Avoidance Tool becomes a versatile, all round pipe and cable locating and tracing package. Robustly made and equipped with LCD meter, detachable loudspeaker and easy-to-operate fingertip controls the C.Scope Cable Avoidance Tool is the ideal Locator for all levels of staff who need to be able to detect buried services quickly and with confidence.
