Full description: overview, applications & how to use

The Dynaweld argon regulator controls shielding gas flow for TIG and MIG welding. It combines a brass pressure regulator, a cylinder contents gauge and a clear tube flowmeter reading up to 25 L/min, so welders set an exact, stable argon flow at the torch. Supplied across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar from our Dubai head office.

Specifications

Parameter Specification
Gas Argon and argon/CO₂ mixes (shielding gas)
Flow indication Tube flowmeter, 0–25 L/min (LPM)
Gauge Cylinder pressure (contents) gauge
Body Heavy-duty brass
Outlet Hose barb for the welding gas hose
Inlet Standard argon cylinder connection with nut and nipple
Processes TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding

Key Features

Accurate Flowmeter

The ball-float flowmeter shows the actual gas flow in litres per minute, so the same setting can be repeated on every job and gas is not wasted.

Contents Gauge

The cylinder gauge shows how much argon is left, so welders can change cylinders before a weld is spoiled by a loss of shielding.

Brass Construction

A machined brass body handles workshop and site use and resists corrosion in hot, humid conditions.

Simple Setup

Screw it onto the cylinder, push the gas hose onto the barb outlet and set the flow with the adjusting knob.

Applications

  • Stainless steel and carbon steel TIG pipe welding in oil & gas and petrochemical projects
  • MIG welding in steel fabrication and structural workshops
  • Aluminium TIG and MIG welding
  • Maintenance, repair and shutdown welding on site

How to Use

  1. Check that the cylinder is argon or an argon mix, then briefly crack the cylinder valve to clear dust.
  2. Fit the regulator to the cylinder and tighten the nut with a spanner.
  3. Connect the gas hose to the outlet barb and secure it with a clip.
  4. Open the cylinder valve slowly and set the flow on the flowmeter, typically 8–15 L/min for TIG.
  5. Close the cylinder valve after work.
