This is a brand new, high quality thermometer for contact temperature measurements. It has two inputs for K-type thermocouples and can display the temperature in 0.1° steps.

It can be used in HVAC trade to check air conditioners, heaters or furnaces with high precision. 

It is also great for science projects, the laboratory and whenever you need a precise measurement of temperatures.

It comes with two 3 ft (1 m) temperature probe, these have a glass fiber insulation and work up to about 500°F (260°C) , but any other K-type probe with miniature thermocouple connector can be used. To use the thermometer for temperatures above 500 degree F you would need a special thermocouple with a ceramic insulation (not included).
